ABOUT
About Amami Lesser Stag Beetle
Although its name means "lesser stag beetle," it resembles the Himeoo stag beetle in many respects. Its mandibles are short and strongly curved, while its legs and tarsi are long. Active from late May through October. Less numerous than the lesser stag beetle found on mainland Japan.
